Keshia Hannam

Keshia Hannam is a New York-based, Hong Kong-born writer, director, producer, and speaker. She currently serves as Creative Director + Editor in Chief for Eastern Standard Times, a global media company representing Asia and the Asian diaspora. Keshia joined Eastern Standard Times as founding Editor-in-chief, and built the team to be 22 people across the world, creating daily video content that was received by an audience of 1.5M monthly, 

She has led activations for EST that include Red Bull’s Culture Clash: a 5000-person concert in NYC representing the Asian community and featuring artists like PLo, Bohan, Ted Park, and Pink $weats, as well as Volvo X EST Lunar New Year parties that featured talents like Juliet Ivy and Grammy winner Laufey. She has covered Ms Banks, Verbal, JJ Lin, and many more.

Joy Jeong

Joy is a director / producer with experience across documentary filmmaking, broadcast news, and digital/social video. She led production at Eastern Standard Times, a digital platform dedicated to telling Asian stories through microdocs, explainers, news reports, and more. Before EST, Joy worked with director Dawn Porter to story-produce Cirque du Soleil: Without a Net which premiered at DOC NYC 2022 as the centerpiece film.

At Great Big Story, Joy produced short docs reaching 12 million+ viewers across YouTube and other platforms; at CNN International, she covered major breaking news as a producer and editor. Her 30-minute film from 2016 about black dancers in classical ballet won a Student Academy Award. Joy came to America from Seoul, South Korea when she was 12 years old, and believes that storytelling is one of the most effective tools in building understanding and connection beyond cultural differences.

CATHERINE T. NGUYEN

Catherine T. Nguyen is an award-winning director/producer based in California. Her passion for storytelling drew her to the NYU Tisch School of Arts, where she graduated cum laude with a B.F.A in Film and Television and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology at Stern.

Leveraging her diverse suite of skills, Catherine served as a producer for CHICKEN, which world premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. WHITE BUTTERFLY is her directorial debut which has screened at festivals around the world, including the Hawai’i International Film Festival, CAAMFest (AT&T InspirASIAN Undergraduate Winner), Yale Student Film Festival (Best Director Winner), among others. She is currently a producer at EST Media.
